بيان من منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا -(ماف).
بقلق واستنكار شديدين تابعنا ما يمارَس من إجراءات وممارسات مهينة بحق أعضاء مجلس الشعب من قبل سلطة أحمد الشرع (أبو محمد الجولاني). حيث وجه الشرع إهانة جديدة للأعضاء عبر التخفيض القسري لرواتبهم من (1200) دولار—كما كان مقرراً—إلى (700) دولار فقط، فضلاً عن إلغاء المزايا والسكن والتنقل التي كانت مخصصة لهم مثل الحصول على سيارة أو بيت.
ولم تتوقف هذه التجاوزات عند هذا الحد، بل أبلغت سلطة الشرع إدارة الفندق الذي كان يقيم فيه الأعضاء بأن الحكومة لن تدفع تكاليف إقامتهم، ليُتفاجأ الأعضاء بطلب إدارة الفندق مغادرتهم في الصباح التالي، مما أوضعهم في ورطة مالية لتسديد قيمة الإقامة عن الأيام الأربعة التي أقاموها هناك، ولم يُحسم الأمر إلا بعد تدخل رجل أعمال وتبرعه بدفع المبلغ ليتم انتقالهم إلى فندق آخر.
وفي هذا السياق، نلفت النظر إلى تصريحات المعارض والكاتب أحمد الرمح التي توضح حجم الامتهان الذي يتعرض له هؤلاء الأعضاء؛ إذ أشار إلى أن من قبل على نفسه أن يكون "شاهد زور"، وأن يلعب دور "التيس المستعار"، ووافق على التهميش وإلغاء لجنة الشؤون الخارجية، لن تؤثر فيه مثل هذه الإهانات المتكررة، بل وسيتلقى في المستقبل إهانات أكبر. إننا في منظمة (ماف) نؤكد أن التضييق والإهانة المتعمدة وتهميش المؤسسات التمثيلية يعكس نهجاً سلطوياً يتنافى مع مبادئ الكرامة الإنسانية ودولة القانون.

Daxuyaniya Rêxistina Mafên Mirovan a Sûriyeyê - (MAF).

Statement from the Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF).
We have followed with grave concern and condemnation the humiliating measures and practices perpetrated against members of the People's Assembly by the authority of Ahmad al-Sharaa (Abu Muhammad al-Julani). Al-Sharaa inflicted further humiliation on the members by forcibly reducing their salaries from $1,200—as originally stipulated—to a mere $700, in addition to canceling the benefits, housing, and transportation allowances previously provided to them, such as a car or house.
These transgressions did not stop there. Al-Sharaa's authority informed the management of the hotel where the members were staying that the government would not cover their accommodation costs. The members were then surprised to be asked by the hotel management to vacate the following morning, leaving them in a financial predicament regarding payment for their four-day stay. The matter was only resolved after a businessman intervened and generously paid the amount, allowing them to move to another hotel.
In this context, we draw attention to the statements of the opposition figure and writer Ahmad al-Rumh, which illustrate the extent of the humiliation these members are subjected to. He pointed out that those who have accepted being "false witnesses," playing the role of "scapegoats," and agreeing to the marginalization and abolition of the Foreign Affairs Committee, will not be affected by such repeated insults; rather, they will receive even greater insults in the future. We at the MAF organization affirm that the deliberate harassment, insults, and marginalization of representative institutions reflect an authoritarian approach that contradicts the principles of human dignity and the rule of law.
