بيان صادر عن منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا – (ماف).
بمناسبة الذكرى السنوية للإبادة الجماعية بحق الإيزيديين – 3 آب 2014.
تستذكر منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا – (ماف) في الثالث من آب الإبادة الجماعية التي تعرض لها الإيزيديون، والتي تُعد من أبشع الجرائم في العصر الحديث، بعدما خلفت آلاف الضحايا من القتلى والمختطفين والمهجرين، وتسببت بمعاناة إنسانية عميقة ما تزال آثارها مستمرة حتى اليوم.
وتؤكد المنظمة أن الجرائم المرتكبة بحق الإيزيديين لا تسقط بالتقادم، وأن تحقيق العدالة ومحاسبة المسؤولين عنها يمثلان التزاماً قانونياً وأخلاقياً لا يجوز التهاون فيه. كما تشدد على أن استمرار غياب الحقيقة بشأن مصير المفقودين يشكل انتهاكاً لحقوق الضحايا وذويهم، وتدعو إلى تكثيف الجهود لكشف مصيرهم، وتحديد أماكن المقابر الجماعية، وإنصاف الناجين وجبر ضررهم وفقاً لمبادئ القانون الدولي وحقوق الإنسان.
وتدعو منظمة (ماف) إلى تعزيز حماية جميع المكونات، وصون الكرامة الإنسانية، وترسيخ قيم العدالة وسيادة القانون، بما يضمن عدم تكرار مثل هذه الجرائم مستقبلاً.
إن إحياء هذه الذكرى هو وفاءٌ لضحايا الإبادة، ورسالة تؤكد أن العدالة والإنصاف وحفظ الذاكرة هي السبيل لبناء مستقبل يحترم حقوق الإنسان ويصون كرامة الجميع.

Statement issued by the Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF).
On the anniversary of the Yazidi genocide – August 3, 2014.
The Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF) commemorates on August 3 the genocide perpetrated against the Yazidis, one of the most heinous crimes of modern times. This genocide left thousands dead, abducted, and displaced, causing profound human suffering whose effects continue to this day.
The organization affirms that the crimes committed against the Yazidis are not subject to any statute of limitations, and that achieving justice and holding those responsible accountable is a legal and moral obligation that cannot be compromised. It also emphasizes that the continued absence of truth regarding the fate of the missing constitutes a violation of the rights of the victims and their families. MAF calls for intensified efforts to uncover their fate, locate mass graves, and provide redress and compensation to the survivors in accordance with the principles of international law and human rights.
The MAF organization calls for strengthening the protection of all communities, preserving human dignity, and entrenching the values of justice and the rule of law to ensure that such crimes are never repeated.
Commemorating this anniversary is a tribute to the victims of genocide and a message affirming that justice, fairness, and preserving memory are the path to building a future that respects human rights and safeguards the dignity of all.
