بيان صادر عن منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا – (ماف)
تتابع منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا – (ماف) ببالغ القلق والاستنكار نبأ مقتل الدكتورة والعالمة زينة صفتلي في حي المالكي بالعاصمة دمشق، في جريمة جديدة تضاف إلى سلسلة الجرائم والانتهاكات التي تشهدها البلاد في ظل استمرار حالة التدهور الأمني وانعدام الحماية الفعالة للمدنيين.
وتحمّل المنظمة الحكومة السورية المؤقتة المسؤولية الكاملة عن استمرار حالة الانفلات الأمني وعجز الجهات المعنية عن حماية المواطنين وضمان أمنهم وسلامتهم، إذ إن أي سلطة قائمة تتحمل مسؤولية قانونية وأخلاقية في حماية الحق في الحياة والأمن الشخصي ومنع وقوع الجرائم وملاحقة مرتكبيها.
إننا نتساءل: إلى متى سيبقى السوريون ضحايا للعنف والقتل وانعدام الأمن؟ وإلى متى ستستمر معاناة الشعب السوري الذي دفع وما يزال يدفع ثمناً باهظاً لعقود طويلة من الاستبداد والانتهاكات والصراعات التي أنهكت المجتمع وأفقدته الشعور بالأمان والاستقرار؟
وتؤكد منظمة (ماف) أن الحق في الحياة حق أساسي تكفله المواثيق الدولية لحقوق الإنسان، وأن استمرار الجرائم دون محاسبة المسؤولين عنها يكرّس ثقافة الإفلات من العقاب ويهدد السلم الأهلي وسيادة القانون.
كما تدعو المنظمة إلى إجراء تحقيق جدي وشفاف لكشف ملابسات الجريمة وتحديد المسؤولين عنها وتقديمهم إلى العدالة، واتخاذ إجراءات عاجلة لضمان حماية المدنيين ووقف الجرائم والانتهاكات التي تستهدف حياة المواطنين وكرامتهم.
إن العدالة والمحاسبة وسيادة القانون هي السبيل الوحيد لحماية المجتمع وصون حقوق الإنسان وبناء مستقبل آمن لجميع السوريين.

Rêxistina MAF piştrast dike ku mafê jiyanê mafekî bingehîn e ku ji hêla peymanên navneteweyî yên mafên mirovan ve tê garantîkirin, û berdewamiya sûcan bêyî ku berpirsiyar werin hesabpirsîn, çandeke bêcezatiyê didomîne û aştiya sivîl û serweriya hiqûqê tehdît dike.
Rêxistin her wiha daxwaza lêpirsînek cidî û zelal dike da ku şert û mercên sûc werin eşkerekirin, berpirsiyar werin destnîşankirin û ew werin dadgehkirin. Her wiha daxwaza tedbîrên lezgîn dike da ku parastina sivîlan were misogerkirin û sûc û binpêkirinên ku jiyan û rûmeta welatiyan hedef digirin werin rawestandin.

Statement issued by the Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF).
The Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF) is following with grave concern and condemnation the news of the murder of Dr. Zeina Saftali, a scholar, in the Malki neighborhood of Damascus. This latest crime adds to the long list of crimes and violations plaguing the country, amidst the ongoing security deterioration and the lack of effective protection for civilians.
The organization holds the Syrian Interim Government fully responsible for the continued security breakdown and the failure of relevant authorities to protect citizens and ensure their safety and security. Any governing authority bears a legal and moral responsibility to protect the right to life and personal security, prevent crimes, and prosecute perpetrators.
We ask: How long will Syrians remain victims of violence, murder, and insecurity? How long will the suffering of the Syrian people continue, a people who have paid and continue to pay a heavy price for decades of tyranny, violations, and conflicts that have exhausted society and deprived it of any sense of security and stability?
The MAF Organization affirms that the right to life is a fundamental right guaranteed by international human rights conventions, and that the continuation of crimes without holding those responsible accountable perpetuates a culture of impunity and threatens civil peace and the rule of law.
The organization also calls for a serious and transparent investigation to uncover the circumstances of the crime, identify those responsible, and bring them to justice. It further calls for urgent measures to ensure the protection of civilians and to stop crimes and violations targeting the lives and dignity of citizens.
Justice, accountability, and the rule of law are the only way to protect society, safeguard human rights, and build a secure future for all Syrians.
