بيان إدانة واستنكار صادر عن منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا - (ماف) بخصوص هدم مبنى بلدية القامشلي التاريخي وتحويله إلى مشروع استثماري.
تتابع منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سورية (ماف) ببالغ القلق والأسف، عمليات الجرف والهدم التي طالت مبنى بلدية القامشلي الأثري، والذي يعد واحداً من أبرز الشواهد التاريخية والحضارية في المدينة. إن إقدام الجهات المعنية على هدم هذا الصرح وتحويله إلى برج سكني وتجاري، يمثل اعتداءً صارخاً على الهوية الثقافية والذاكرة الجمعية لأبناء القامشلي.
يعود تاريخ هذا البناء الشامخ إلى عام **1935** (حقبة الانتداب الفرنسي)، حيث عاصر نشأة المدينة وتطورها، وتعاقب على إدارته شخصيات ورؤساء بلديات تركوا بصمتهم في تاريخ المنطقة، سواء عبر التعيين أو من خلال الانتخابات. هذا المبنى ليس مجرد كتلة من الحجر، بل هو رمز للإدارة المحلية وتاريخ حي يروي حكاية أجيال متعاقبة.
إننا في منظمة (ماف) نطرح تساؤلاً مشروعاً واستنكارياً: كيف يُسمح بتحويل صرح حضاري وتاريخي بهذا الحجم إلى سلعة تجارية تُباع وتُشترى من قبل حيتان العقارات والمستثمرين، ضاربين بعرض الحائط القيمة المعنوية والتاريخية للمدينة؟
إن تدمير المعالم الأثرية والتاريخية وتحويلها إلى مشاريع ربحية ضيقة يعد جريمة بحق الإرث الثقافي، وتفريطاً لا يمكن تعويضه بذاكرة المكان. بناءً على ذلك، فإننا في منظمة (ماف):
ندين بأشد العبارات هدم هذا المعلم التاريخي وتحويله إلى مشروع استثماري تجاري.
نطالب الجهات القائمة على إدارة المدينة بوقف هذه التجاوزات فوراً، وحماية ما تبقى من المعالم الأثرية والتاريخية في القامشلي.
ندعو المنظمات الحقوقية، والفعاليات المدنية، والثقافية، وأبناء المدينة إلى رفع الصوت عالياً لحفظ هوية القامشلي وحماية إرثها من التشويه والاندثار.

Rêxistina Mafên Mirovan a Sûriyeyê - (MAF) bi fikar û xemgîniyeke kûr operasyonên buldozerkirin û hilweşandinê yên ku avahiya dîrokî ya Şaredariya Qamîşlî, ku yek ji nîşaneyên dîrokî û çandî yên herî girîng ên bajêr tê hesibandin, hedef digirin, dişopîne. Kiryarên rayedarên peywendîdar di hilweşandina vê abîdeyê û veguherandina wê bo birceke niştecîhî û bazirganî de êrîşeke eşkere li ser nasnameya çandî û bîra kolektîf a xelkê Qamîşlî ye.
Ev avahiya mezin vedigere sala 1935an (serdema Mandata Fransî), ku şahidiya avakirin û pêşkeftina bajêr kiriye. Ew ji aliyê rêze kesayet û şaredaran ve dihat birêvebirin ku şopa xwe li ser dîroka herêmê hiştine, çi bi rêya tayînkirinê çi bi hilbijartinê. Ev avahî ne tenê girseyeke keviran e; ew sembola rêveberiya herêmî û dîrokeke zindî ye ku çîroka nifşên li pey hev vedibêje. Bi tundî hilweşandina vê nîşaneya dîrokî û veguherandina wê bo projeyek veberhênana bazirganî şermezar dikin.
Em daxwaz dikin ku rayedarên bajêr tavilê van binpêkirinan rawestînin û tiştên ku ji cihên arkeolojîk û dîrokî yên li Qamîşlî mane biparêzin.
Em bang li rêxistinên mafên mirovan, civaka sivîl û komên çandî, û niştecihên bajêr dikin ku dengê xwe bilind bikin da ku nasnameya Qamîşlî biparêzin û mîrata wê ji xirabkirin û tunekirinê biparêzin.

Statement of Condemnation and Denunciation Issued by the Human Rights Organization in Syria - (MAF) Regarding the Demolition of the Historic Qamishli Municipality Building and its Conversion into an Investment Project
The Human Rights Organization in Syria - (MAF) is following with deep concern and regret the bulldozing and demolition operations targeting the historic Qamishli Municipality building, which is considered one of the most prominent historical and cultural landmarks in the city. The actions of the relevant authorities in demolishing this monument and converting it into a residential and commercial tower constitute a blatant attack on the cultural identity and collective memory of the people of Qamishli.
This magnificent building dates back to 1935 (the French Mandate era), having witnessed the city's establishment and development. It was managed by a succession of figures and mayors who left their mark on the region's history, whether through appointment or election. This building is not merely a mass of stone; it is a symbol of local administration and a living history that tells the story of successive generations. We at the MAF Organization raise a legitimate and indignant question: How can a cultural and historical landmark of this magnitude be allowed to be transformed into a commercial commodity to be bought and sold by real estate tycoons and investors, completely disregarding the city's moral and historical value?
The destruction of archaeological and historical sites and their conversion into narrow, profit-driven projects is a crime against cultural heritage and an irreparable loss of the city's memory. Therefore, we at the MAF Organization:
Condemn in the strongest terms the demolition of this historical landmark and its conversion into a commercial investment project.
We demand that the city authorities immediately halt these violations and protect what remains of the archaeological and historical sites in Qamishli.
We call upon human rights organizations, civil society and cultural groups, and the city's residents to raise their voices to preserve Qamishli's identity and protect its heritage from distortion and obliteration.
