بيان صادر عن منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا - (ماف).
تتابع منظمة حقوق الإنسان في سوريا - (ماف) بقلق بالغ الجدل والمخاوف المثارة حول التدخل السياسي في الشأن الرياضي، وعلى وجه الخصوص ما ورد من تقارير حول تدخل الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب في ملف اللاعب "فولارين بالوغون" ومطالبته بمراجعة عقوبة البطاقة الحمراء الصادرة بحقه، وما تلا ذلك من السماح للاعب بالمشاركة مجدداً؛ الأمر الذي أثار موجة انتقادات واسعة وتساؤلات جوهرية حول مدى استقلالية القرارات الرياضية ونزاهتها.
وفي هذا الصدد، تؤكد المنظمة على المبادئ الثابتة التالية:
ترى المنظمة ضرورة إبقاء الحقل الرياضي بمنأى تام عن أي تجاذبات أو تدخلات سياسية، وتشدد على أنه لا يحق لأي مسؤول سياسي أو رئيس دولة التدخل في القرارات الفنية والانضباطية للاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا)، إذ يجب أن تحكم هذه المنظومة اللوائح والقوانين الرياضية المستقلة بعيداً عن حسابات النفوذ والضغط السياسي.
كما أن منظمة (ماف) تؤكد أن استقلالية المؤسسات الرياضية الدولية تعد ركيزة أساسية لضمان العدالة والمساواة وتكافؤ الفرص بين جميع المنتخبات واللاعبين على حد سواء، وأن أي تسييس لقرارات (فيفا) من شأنه أن يهدد نزاهة المنافسات الرياضية ويقوض ثقة الجماهير بالمنظومة الرياضية العالمية.
وتدعو المنظمة الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) إلى التمسك الكامل بمبادئ الشفافية والحياد، وتطبيق القوانين بصرامة وعلى الجميع دون استثناء أو تمييز، بما يضمن حماية اللعبة من أي استغلال أو تأثير سياسي خارجي.

The Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF) is following with grave concern the controversy and concerns raised regarding political interference in sports, particularly the reports concerning US President Donald Trump's intervention in the case of player Folarin Balogun, his demand for a review of the red card issued against him, and the subsequent reinstatement of the player. This has sparked widespread criticism and fundamental questions about the independence and integrity of sports decisions.
In this regard, the organization affirms the following established principles:
The organization believes it is essential to keep the sports field completely free from any political disputes or interference. It emphasizes that no political official or head of state has the right to interfere in the technical and disciplinary decisions of FIFA, as this system must be governed by independent sports regulations and laws, free from considerations of influence and political pressure.
The Syrian Human Rights Organization - (MAF) also affirms that the independence of international sports institutions is a fundamental pillar for ensuring fairness, equality, and equal opportunities for all national teams and players. Any politicization of FIFA's decisions threatens the integrity of sporting competitions and undermines public trust in the global sports system.
The organization calls on FIFA to fully adhere to the principles of transparency and impartiality, and to apply the rules rigorously and equally to all without exception or discrimination, thus protecting the game from any exploitation or external political influence.
